Dear Parent/Guardian,
As your 1st year child settles into school, we have organised a Study/Revision Skills seminar for the year group.
The programme helps the students gain confidence and relax about the new academic challenges that face them in ‘big school’. The children are introduced to the whole concept of learning and how it links to their brain and memory. Areas covered are as follows:
· Time Management & Organisation
· Memory strategies
· Effective homework habits
· Exam Planning and Revision skills
We plan to hold the workshop on Thursday 7th April. The school are covering the cost of the event.
*All students will receive a Learning Resource Guide with follow-up activities and an A3 Exam Countdown Planner.
